At King of the Ring, the debuting Aleister Black defeats AJ Styles at King of the Ring to become the United States Champion.

The Usos defeated The New Day to win the SmackDown Tag Team Championship at SummerSlam and are the default SmackDown Tag Team Champions in WWE 2K18.

At King of the Ring, Kharma makes her epic return to answer Charlotte Flair's SmackDown Women's Championship Open Challenge to defeat her for Kharma to win her first Women's Championship in the WWE 2K Universe Mode.
